Kristy is an associate lawyer at Yegendorf Rashid LLP. Her practice concentrates on personal injury litigation resulting from motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and assaults. She also supports her clients with negligence claims, long-term disability claims, and insurance disputes.
Kristy joined the firm in 2025 after relocating to Ottawa from Edmonton, Alberta. In addition to her personal insurance litigation practice with Yegendorf Rashid LLP, Kristy also has a civil litigation practice with our sister firm, Brazeau Seller LLP.
In Edmonton, Kristy practiced family law, personal injury litigation, and general civil litigation with her most recent practice focusing on insurance litigation. She has represented clients in the Alberta Provincial Court, Alberta Court of King’s Bench and the Alberta Court of Appeal.
Kristy received her Juris Doctor (with distinction) from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law, in 2013. She practiced law in Edmonton until she moved to Ottawa to further her education, and completed a Master of Arts in International Affairs at Carleton University. Prior to law school Kristy obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology (with distinction) from the University of Calgary.
Kristy is looking forward to utilizing her experience to continue her law practice in Ottawa.
